Obviously, we started out way before the Digital Revolution that has changed the world came about. Everything changed, not just the hardware, but the concept of photography as a whole has changed. It’s so easy now to shoot a thousand images in one session that each individual image has less value. We are well equipped with both
film and digital cameras to satisfy every request.
Although we currently shoot with digital cameras by default, we will shoot your event on film if requested.
We personally still prefer the unsurpassed quality and feel of an optical image on a piece of film. You can digitize a negative with no loss in quality if you need to.
But you cannot convert a digital file to film without some loss in quality.
We use Nikon© cameras for 35mm and Hasselblad© cameras for 120 large format professional film.

Ancar Photography is a husband and wife team. We started in this profession back in 1975. So as you can see, our experience in vast.
